Ashwagandha neuroprotective properties in neuropathy

Ashwagandha known scientifically as Withania somnifera, has been used for centuries to reduce physiological and psychological stress. As such investigators published many papers on its neuroprotecive effects.

One scientific paper claims “beneficial neuropharmacological properties” for  Ashwagandha. How effective oral supplements are in delivering the benefits remain to be determined.
